MEET Netanya !

Hi! My name is Netanya Joujoute. I am a first-generation college student. My parents are both immigrants from Haiti and have played a huge role in who I am today. I am attending Salem State University and I will be receiving my bachelor’s in social work. After getting my bachelor’s I hope to continue my education through Salem State’s advanced master’s program where you receive your masters in one year. After this, I hope to get my license and focus on therapy. I chose social work because mental health is very stigmatized among people of color, and I want to bring awareness and acceptance to it. It is okay to seek help and it is okay to be in therapy. At Revive, I will be completing intake assessments for client and offering clients case management support when needed.
